SENSORY BACKPACKS
reduce increased anxiety, auditory and visual stimuli

Ashford Designer Outlet understands that guests with additional sensory and neurological needs may find visiting our centre a daunting experience.

To help support guests’ visits, we offer sensory packs that have been selected with key sensory items to offer children and adults a broad range of sensory opportunities and therapeutic benefits. The pack has been designed to support people living with a wide range of neurodivergent needs who are likely to benefit from sensory resources to make their shopping experience more enjoyable.

WHAT'S INSIDE THE BACKPACKS?

Our sensory packs come pre-packed with:

-  A pair of ear defenders o help with noise sensitivity,
-  sunglasses for light sensitivity; and
-  a feelings fan to express how you are feeling.

In addition to this, each guest will have the opportunity to add up to five additional fiddle toys to their sensory backpacks to keep their hands busy and relieve stress. 

HOW TO HIRE:

Our sensory packs are available to hire free of charge* from Guest Services (located opposite AllSaints). Alternatively, they are available for purchase at £50.

*A £50 refundable deposit will be required upon hiring a sensory pack.
